This feeder is battery operated (2-AA batteries not included)and can feed up to 2 times a day. It has a rotating food bin on the left side of the unit. Mounts to the top of the hood and as the food bin spins, food will drop out the adjustable opening. Once the rotation is completed the food opening is located at the top of the food bin so moisture is unable to collect inside the bin.

Instructions:
It comes with a pedestal stand that has an adhesive patch attached. Install the pedestal into the hexagonal hole at bottom rear of feeder. Remove patch covering and press the unit onto aquarium cover. Ensure that the food reservoir is able to rotate without obstruction and the reservoir opening is unobstructed and drops food directly into the aquarium.Remove the food reservoir by waiting until unit is turned off and then gently pulling it away from the motor unit.

Specifications:
On the largest setting, flake, pellets and freeze-dried food can be used, on the smallest setting only flakes or micro pellets are suitable.
